We are seeking a talented SharePoint Developer (.Net) able to create applications, workflows, and BI solutions within Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010/2013/2016/Online environments. The ideal candidate brings hands-on development experience and a problem-solving mind, with a strong desire to learn and grow in an idea-nurturing environment. Although the developer will work primarily on customer projects, they will also be able to support in-house product development when available.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, and manage site content and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing portals and Web Sites.
- Maintain access via military NIPRNET and/or SIPRNET connectivity and other Government provided WAN connections
- Follow Army directives in developing and deploying single sign-on technology utilizing the CAC card and/or Army Knowledge Online (AKO) Single Sign-on & SSL technologies
- Applies.NET technologies to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals
- Develop software solutions based on user requirements analysis and information needs
- Design, develop and maintain systems using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2007, 2010, 2013, and new 2016.
- Implement SharePoint-based workflows
- Develop Business Intelligence dashboards using the Microsoft BI Stack (Excel, Excel Services, Power Pivot, Power View, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS)
Required Skills and Experience
- Self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and can learn quickly in a fast paced environment
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, etc. or equivalent years of experience and training required
- At least 1 year of .Net development experience (advanced experience desired)
- Experience developing Sharepoint solutions with SharePoint designer, workflows, ASPX, HTML, CAML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, JQuery and CSS
- Experience and expertise in analyzing complex data sets and ability to quickly identify potential issues
- Excellent SQL skills, the ability to develop SQL queries and stored procedures to extract/analyze data from multiple sources
- Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) techniques and processes
- Experience with Agile & Waterfall Project Management processes, best practices, and reporting standards is a plus
- Must possess or be able to obtain a US Department of Defense Secret and/or a US Government Public Trust clearance
